Clearing the Opening Balances from your Trial Balance

Your Trial Balance report shows the balances of the postings that Sage Line 50 made when you saved the opening balances for your customers and suppliers.

You should clear the entries in these accounts now, otherwise these postings will be duplicated when you post the opening balances for your nominal ledger accounts, and your balance sheet will be incorrect.
